Catching up November 2015

Annual Nutcracker Market Trip! Had a blast with my mom and sisters. We started the day tailgating with mimosas (seems to be a theme for our family trips), shopped A LOT (with wine in our purses), headed to the hotel and then out to a wonderful dinner. We ended our trip saying hi to the Hines family patriarch, Randy and eating breakfast at their shop. Thanks Mom for making this trip happen!

Gigi and Peepaw watched Ella for a few days while I had allergy testing. What would I do without the help of all of our family?!?  I love the picture of them walking together. Gigi's camera was down so these were the only gems I could get.

Just because she's cute.

Happy Birthday Abby! Had a blast celebrating this one's 5th birthday! Thanks to all the grandparents for coming out to celebrate.

School Pictures

Thanksgiving with the Conger family. We enjoyed the park, metal detecting, turkey, yummy deserts and hanging out with Charlie's brother Mark. Thanks for hosting us Mimi & Papa!

Abby was able to stay longer with Mimi & Papa to help decorate for Christmas and see The Nutcracker for the first time. We enjoyed some quiet time at home ;).

Catching up October 2015

I got to hear the author, Leila Lawler of The Little Oratory: A Beginner's Guide to Praying in the Home speak at our church. She inspired me to make a family alter in our house. My parents bought this buffet after they got married and refinished it for me. I love it. It's made our dining room a nice quiet prayer place.

Pumpkin patching with the Congers! The girls loved picking out their pumpkins and decorating them after. Too bad it felt more like summer than October ;)- oh Texas weather!

Kinsley's 4th Birthday at Torchy's Tacos! She loved sorting all her presents and being the "birthday girl". I think she changed outfits about 5 times that day.

Watching the Aggies with Mom and Dad and then surprising my Mom for her 55th birthday! She came home to a full house (the entire family!), presents and cake. She was totally shocked. It was a fun time hanging out :) Our girls made her a birthday crown and were able to set up the tripod for family shot. I'm so thankful for the life and example of my mom. Love you and Happy Birthday! I was able to use this shot for the Mechler family Christmas card.

Halloween Weekend! We planned on going to Mimi's Halloween Concert- but sadly it was rained out TWICE! Papa and Mimi decided to take the girls and do some Halloween activities and gave us a break with just Ella. They came back for trick or treating and we had a blast :) Jack O Lantern pizza and yummy cupcakes the girls made. My sweet Ella went as CinderELLA (thanks Gigi for her costume!). She stayed with me to hand out candy while the rest of the clan headed around the neighborhood. We got to visit with our neighbors and really enjoyed our selves.

Halloween at school- oh my loves they had many costumes to choose from.
