What a wonderful day! We missed the class (because you don't have to go if you have two children in one year...some of the perks of Irish twins :)) so we were a bit confused on the logistics of the day but not the beauty of the Sacrament. Both Chris and I were so proud to bring our Kinsley into the church. The deacon reminded us of the importance of the Sacrament and how we can bring Kinsley's candle to each Sacramental celebration. How beautiful to think that she could use it to light her unity candle on her wedding day! We were so blessed to share the day with Kinsley's grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and Godparents- Aunt Chelsea & Uncle Kevin. Thanks so much especially to those who traveled to be with us. Kinsley smelled of chrism days after her baptism...I found myself taking in the sweet scent while she nursed and finally had to bathe her when the scent of spit up overpowered the chrism :)
Both Kinsley and Abby were baptized at Prince of Peace parishes in different cities...what a nice coincidence!
