Today we went looking for "punkins" on our walk around the neighborhood and took a few pics in the backyard. I love Halloween! A friend showed me a catholic article that gave the history of Halloween including that it was started by Christians to make fun of the devil and show that God is bigger than all the scary stuff. I really want my girls to enjoy the day and not take things to seriously. We had pumpkin bread today and enjoyed playing with pumpkins. What a great day!! So excited to carve and decorate our pumpkins this weekend.
