This Weekend

This weekend we spend a ton of time in the pool! Abby loves the water but still gets a little scared as any baby would when she gets water in her face. I really think that we are going to keep taking her to the pool getting her used to the water and then enroll in swim lessons in the next year. Who knows by summer next year Chris and I might both be going so we can have a set of arms for each baby :)

Marilyn sent me some pictures of Chris as a little water baby. He started swimming around the same age as Abby. I also love that in the picture Marilyn and I have almost identical swimsuits but in different colors :)

Aunt Che Che got to go with us to Lifetime and Abby had a blast swimming with her aunt! We also got to swim in College Station when we went to visit Shane & Michelle. Pepaw had a blast swimming with his granddaughter. We had to switch to the hot tub on a cool setting because the swimming pool was not quite warm enough. Abby was much happier in the hot tub!

We had so much fun with Shane & Michelle playing board games and relaxing on their new patio! Abby got involved as you can see :) I love the many faces she had in this game. She is very into board games just like her daddy.

On Sunday evening we watched daddy and friends play in the semi-finals and finals to win the championship in their basketball league. They played an amazing game against a team that was not very sportsman like. We were so proud of our guys who held their heads high the entire game and ended up coming out on top! Way to go! Can't wait to watch another season :)

In between games the Poulsen's and Conger's took our babies on a stroller ride around the park. It was Abby's first time in the big girl stroller and Kate's first time in her stroller. We had so much fun and Courtney and I decided we would have to do this more often in the summer :)
