Well...we haven't been to the rodeo in ages...so Chris and I decided that it would be fun! The band that we could agree upon (I like country and Chris likes well Texas Country...so there is our compromise) was Zac Brown Band- only on a Monday night. We made it by concert time and hadn't eaten so we ended up with supreme nachos, chili cheese dog, one beer, one water, and regular nachos. All of this was after we tried for about an hour to find parking. Needless to say we were ready to sit and relax. The show was awesome but it seemed like it wasn't worth the drive and then the hour long wait for buses after. Next year if we go we will definitively go on a weekend or weekday that he can take off so we can enjoy the livestock show and carnival. If you've been to the state fair in Dallas it reminded me so much of that. Here are some pics of the day. All in all a good date but mostly because I got to spend it with my husband and we could play ascension on my iPhone while waiting on the bus :) Thanks to Gigi, Peepaw, and Aunt CheChe for babysitting the girls for us!
