1. What did moms do before the Internet? I've been basically shut in the house because I'm not clear to drive since Kinsley's birth. But weirdly enough this extroverted girl still feels connected and not alone through the wonders of Facebook, blogging and google reader. They've also helped late night nursing sessions fly by! Pinterest I can't wait to try all your new ideas once things settle down a bit :)

2. God knows much better than I do :) being surrounded by family after the birth of Kinsley has been amazing! I've been getting a little extra sleep everyday and been getting a ton of help with Abby. Thank you Gigi and Mimi for giving up your own family time to stay with us and help us adjust to being parents of 2 under the age of 1!

3. Ever get that feeling that you are becoming your mother? I do everyday and I smile because of I end up like the mom I have and grandma she is one day I will know I've done something right.

4. Frozen meals are amazing! We have a freezer stocked full of Abby's frozen food and meals I prepared before Kinsley's birth and some that wonderful friends have made us. It's so easy to throw together an amazing meal in 10 minutes. I think in a few weeks I'm going to try to make a bunch of meals again and maybe get into a monthly habit of preparing ahead of time.

5. Recovery this time around (after the csection) has been a breeze...is it because my body has already done this and I know what to expect? Not sure but I will take it :) God really does allow you to forget all the pain and annoyances of pregnancy because I thought during it there is no way that I will do this again...Kinsley you are the last and now I can definitely imagine having more kids (after a much longer break than the last :))

6. Kinsley has made the newborn stage much easier this time around. My milk came in faster and she latched so well that breast feeding is much easier this time around! She cries pretty much only when she's hungry or I'm changing her diaper and she has to be woken up on a lot of nights after 5 hours. Mommy is loving the extra sleep :) we've been ding baby wise this time around and we love it. Kinsley is a great sleeper and eater and I don't think it's just because she's an easy baby :) I thank God so much that we've had an easy time because it would be really tough with the two girls being so close in age.

7. I'm posting a lot on my blog and fb about babies. I realize that and wish I had more exciting things to post about but also realize that it's my job and life right now. I hope that there are mamas out there that can learn from our successes and mistakes. I know that's what has kept me sane lately knowing there are other people out there like me who are making it!
