Abby at 9 months!

Abby this month was full of TRANSITION! We moved from our home in Dallas but because our new home in Tomball was still under construction we moved in with Pepaw and Gigi Mechler and Grandpa and Mimi Conger. We spent the month enjoying so much quality time with your grandparents! You took a break from cloth diapers and homemade baby food because it was a bit hard to keep up with all of our stuff in boxes. You learned how to pull up with the help of climbing up furniture and you started crawling like a maniac! You were swimming all the time and got very brave...you would crawl all around the shallow end of the pool. You also started chasing kitty cats at Mimi's house. You moved from 3 naps to 2 naps a day...one in the morning around 8:30-9am and another in the afternoon around 12:30-1ish pm. You also cut your first tooth which was a huge blessing because you were feeling so sick and not sleeping well before that. You also moved into a normal meal schedule...breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. You would eat a veggie and fruit at each meal and you also enjoyed cereal with fruit at breakfast. You even tried yogurt and finger foods like A's and little Gerber "cheetos".

The scariest moment of the month was when we took you to Castroville for Norm's surprise birthday party. You had over a 100 degree fever and we had to take you to an urgent care. We found out you had hand foot and mouth infection as well as an ear infection. Mommy has never seen you look that sick. Pepaw and Gigi helped Mommy take care of you because Daddy was in Houston for a business trip.

You grew up so much this month and Mommy feels bad that she didn't get to take your monthly picture with all of the moving. So you are missing 9 months but I still made a collage so you would see all of your cute moments!
