7 Quick Takes

I'm going to post all about my Friday because it was a day worthy of all seven quick takes.

1. coffee, yo gabba gabba and my hubby taking care of Abby so I could get a few extra min of sleep was amazing :)

2. Kinsley is back to birth weight (1week late) and gained 9 oz this week! She's sleeping two 4 hour stretches each night and getting her 8 feedings in a day. I don't know how we've been blessed with such great sleepers...I think they get it from their daddy :)

3. Abby will now walk up to Kinsley kiss her head and walk away...except for this evening when she walked up to her and hit her face a few times. Kinsley cried and went back to sleep.

4. I got to take the girls to daily mass today...an older sweet lady offered to watch the girls in the stroller while I went to communion (she was not creepy by the way) I thanked her and really enjoyed my peaceful stroll to communion. Well, Chris and I met up for lunch at olive garden after (which isn't right next to the church)and saw that same lady. We found out her name is Rose and she has a sister that's a nun. She offered to watch the girls anytime I want to go to communion in the future :)

5. A couple at mass renewed their vows after 50 years of marriage. It was beautiful! Hearing the vows of course brought me back to our own wedding day. Chris and I memorized our vows and we would say them every night before bed. When Abby was born we got out of the habit because we were going to bed at different times. Today I had a huge desire to start that daily practice again :)

6. Gigi and Peepaw came to visit this afternoon. I love having both sets grandparents so close!

7. God has really been revealing to our family how blessed we really are. I'm praying for those growing through a rough time that we can be there for them and I pray that we can have the positive attitude that we've seen in our friends when we go through our own struggles.
