What a wonderful weekend! We ventured out for the first time with both girls to see Kit and Michael tie the knot. It was so nice seeing our old friends and family in Dallas. We miss the city so much...every place seemed to hold a memory for Chris and I. We met, dated, married and had our first child there so basically Dallas holds a special place in our heart.
Traveling with two babies is pretty eventful :) For some of the trip we had surround sound crying. One baby would stop and the other would start. It was quite fun! However with a little planning we were able to consolidate the feedings into one stop and were able to make the trip in about 6 hours one way and 5 hours on the way back. Not bad for having an almost one year old and a newborn!
We got to stay with Court and Jake which was awesome! We miss them so much. They were so sweet to give up their master bedroom to make it easier on us with Kinsley and even got up with Abby in the morning so we could have some extra rest. I can't remember the last time we got to sleep in so that was really nice!
The wedding was beautiful...Kit and Michael were really meant to be together and it was great getting to share in their special day. We wish you two the best. You are going to have a wonderful marriage and make great parents (one day) ;).
All in all a wonderful weekend but I'm not ready to make another road trip anytime soon ;).
