1. I had a wonderful moment at church today when we were praying after communion. We were singing "Sacred Silence" and they got to this line- Holy Mary, gentle mother, God's pure vessel, praying for me. Saints and angels, all in heaven, come and be with me. I just had this overwhelming feeling of comfort and peace with all of the new changes. I've been super scared of having 2 babies so close together and being all alone during the day. I realized at that moment that although it may be hard, I'm never going to be alone. Besides all of the amazing family and friends I have when I'm physically alone during the day I'm surrounded by God's saints and angels who are rooting for me! Our God is truly awesome!
2. Cross our fingers- this might be announced to soon- but we are getting our applicants to sign the lease for our house! We are going to move the weekend of July 30th and move into our new home at the end of August. Our loving family is graciously giving us a place to stay until our new home is ready :)
3. Abby is crawling (her own version of an army-crawl/scoot) and sitting up on her own. Just in time for Mommy to pack and have boxes all around for her to explore. Looks like she'll be starting pack & play time real soon!
4. I apologize for clogging up your google reader with my made with love designs. It's so therapeutic for me to sit down and come up with something really special. I'm really enjoying trying out new styles and coming up with new ideas for the future.
5. I'm obsessed with Pinterest. It's such a good way for me to organize my ideas for our new home and I've found so many amazing tips and decorating ideas. If you want an invite- email me- so much fun!
6. My husband is back home and I yelled at him today...after only one day of being back. I missed him so much but I guess the stress of all our life changes is getting to me. I know if we don't count on each other we aren't going to make it through this move in one piece. I can't wait to be settled again and work on just being us.
7. Chris and I are thinking of taking a little vaca once we get moved in and before Kinsley makes her appearance. We have a bunch of hilton honors points so we're hoping to keep it inexpensive...any ideas for fun places we could drive to from Houston (I'll be too far along for a plane trip)
