2. I can't wait to see our new house all done up :) Doesn't mean I'm exactly ready to leave Dallas but knowing there's a brand spanking new home waiting for us is kind of nice!
3. Abby is teething which pretty means her afternoon naps have been not happening for the past few days. We keep trying to put her down but she's keeps fighting it. I think part of the problem is our running errands in the early afternoon and her falling asleep in the car and then waking up when we get home. She gets a little sleep but not a good one and then doesn't want to go back down. So tomorrow we are staying home and hunkering down for a good afternoon nap. However, she's been able to keep sleeping through the night so I really can't complain much.
4. The wonderful Jenni Angrisano and Courtney Pouslen came over Wednesday and pretty much packed my kitchen for me. I tried to help as much as I could but Abs was being a bit high maintenance. I can not tell you how amazing it felt when we were done. The kitchen is truly the worst room of a house to pack. Too many dishes/glasses to wrap up and they all hide behind cabinets so you really don't even know you did anything until you open them up and find nothing!
5. I had my last appointment with Dr. Behan today. I was sad...is that weird that I was so sad to leave my obgyn? He is absolutely amazing and it's been a hard decsion to switch doctors with the move. He even offered to still deliver Kinsley but I would have to basically live up here for a month before the birth...my nesting instincts are too strong to be away from our new home and living out of a suitcase for those last days of being the mom of one.
6. There is a silver lining to leaving Dr. Behan...after searching and getting so many great recommendations from friends for obgyns in Houston I actually found one! He is also an NFP only doctor! I really thought there were none in Houston but we found him! Dr. Hector Del Castillo had all glowing reviews online. I couldn't find a negative one. The only downside being that his practice is in downtown Houston. But we drove for Dr. Behan so I guess we can drive for him. I mean I'm really hoping to cut down my obgyn appointments to once a year after Kinsley is born...crossing my fingers....but apparently we are on the "Conger Plan" which might mean many more obgyn appointments in the future.
7. I miss wine. I've been pregnant for most of our marriage now and there is a beautiful wine refrigerator stocked with fabulous wines (a wedding gift from the Conger's) that we've barely touched. I don't mind not drinking when I'm pregnant until I smell the sweet scent of a Cabernet and then I'm done (I mean I only have a sip or maybe half a glass but if you've seen me have this one sip you would think I've died and gone to heaven). I'm thinking wine tasting vaca next summer. Chris if you are reading this mark it down. This would make for a fabulous gift/surprise for your lovely darling sweet wife ;)

If you drive downtown for an appt, that is halfway to me. Rebecca and I can meet you and Abby for an afternoon at the Chiodren's Museum. Let me know when you are moving and I can come and help unpack one day.
i just went to a fabulous wine tasting/food pairing at Water 2 Wine in the Galleria! They make all their wines in-house and everything we tried was delicious!!! it wouldnt exactly be a vacation, but we tried 10 wines and it lasted about 2.5 hours. Very relaxing :)
