Check out Conversion Diary1. I'm in the process of de-cluttering our house. I love taking everything out of a closet and seperating it into 3 piles: trash, goodwill, keep. It is this feeling of such satisfaction when I'm done. My desk has never looked better :) My other new favorite thing is a nice clear tupperware box with a pretty label on the outside. Doesn't take much to make this stay at home mom happy!
2. We watched the matrix last night. Is it just me or is there a lot of Christian symbolism in that movie. I may be a total heretic but it made me think a lot about my faith and how God can see way outside of our realm and we have to trust that he is going to take care of us.
3. Every time I put on jeans to run errands I think- oh they look better than shorts I can tough out the heat. Well I'm done with that! I'm 5 months pregnant I think people will just have to be okay with seeing my white veiney legs in this crazy heat :)
4. I think in another life I could have been a computer programmer. My husband is reading this laughing out loud right now, but really. Researching some ways to change up my blog I've found the html stuff interesting.
5. Father's day is this Sunday and I've realized that I have pretty amazing male role models in my life. What a true blessing. I'm so glad that Abby and Kinsley have their Daddy that will make them feel special and loved like my dad did. My life would be greatly different without the influence of my father.
6. I spend way too much time on my iPad. I'm going to download a daily readings app so I can read that before I go to bed instead of being a facebook stalker. I don't pray enough and I need to work on that.
7. It's weird that getting rid of clothes actually makes you have more wearable clothes. I can now see what is in my closet and I have an amazing amount of clothes that fit and outfits I can make. I'm excited to go shopping in my own closet and see what outfits I can make :)
